  • Website Worth Checking Out

When John Quiggin’s article The Great Oil Fallacy was moved behind the paywall at itulip, I went searching for it and ran across one of the better website I’ve found in a long time…

    www.thebrowser.com “Writing Worth Reading”

It aggregates articles from other websites. It’s archive of “5 books interviews” in which authors recommend five books that informed them on a particular subject has been a great read for the last week.

    Examples…

Steven Glain on American Military Industrial Complex
    http://thebrowser.com/interviews/ste...-us-militarism

    Ruth Reichl on American Food

Publicly available article was placed behind the firewall. Can someone explain this to me.

I once had a thread moved from the public forum to behind the paywall. FRED told me it was because iTulip prefers for paid subscribers to post their new threads behind the paywall for discussion.

Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

Thanks, Shiny! I have wondered what the protocol was , and now I know. Behind the pay wall for me it is. I suppose that will limit the amount of damage I can do, and it is between consenting adults, after all!
