I saw the Lincoln are was not impressed.
You'll find Thaddeus Stevens to be held up as a hero in the movie (i'll admit not having read enough history to understand his role).
I was struck by many of the important talks Lincoln has he uses Democracy way more often than Republic. Often Democracy is used at moments when you would expect a politician of the time to use the word Republic (of course I could be wrong). The most disappointing part of seeing the movie is that I wasn't drawn into the movie the way you are when you see a really great film.
