    Well, our neural networks are manifestations of sensory inputs. So yes, each person's internal network design is a reflection of the "reality" that they allow in, whatever that may be. Accept centrally controlled digital media's view of the world as reality and the brain will develop synaptical networks to frame the world in accordance with that view.
