BPT is a royalty trust that is distributing cash from producing wells. They are not drilling new ones so eventually the oil depletes and there are no more distributions. The current return is much higher than other assets as an offset. I expect at some point he price will erode to recognize this. In the meantime if oil prices rise the return may be enhanced a bit before the trust dissolves.
