Re: More "Unexpected" (Bad) news for the British........

I really liked the opening line (emphasis mine):

The ONS said the public sector finances excluding bank bail-outs - the government's preferred measure - showed a deficit of £600m, compared to a £2.8bn surplus in July 2011, following a sharp shortfall in corporation tax.
... and there's the Telegraph in a nutshell.

I would be amazed at how little effort the media makes to hide the fact that it is pandering to the biases of their market segment, but over time I have come to expect little better. Learning anything approximating "truth" or "news" has become an art based on penetrating the various shell games (shill games?) coming from all sides.

We call that a 'tell'. Learn to listen to the markets, watch how it reacts to news. Expect the pound to increase in strength as more people discover that the world isn't sliding into the abyss.

The British have two main sources of income:-
The Fraud that is the City of London (Bust)
        The Northsea Oil/Gas

        Running dry.........
Now, how are they going to service ALL that debt????
