Not quite as good as some bring a suitcase nuke with them, but once the public suss that NO ONE ELSE is intrested they bale as well.........i don't expect anything nasty to happen till after the games are over.........the bill arives & there is HELL to pay.

Jokes apart, this is the best outcome, i don't wish to see anyone hurt....but i DO wish to see the "Games" exposed as just another Bloody Ponzi scam. I think this might very well be one of the last over the top games..........hopefully they go back to something more modest after this....

Wouldn't that be nice. Nowdays the Olympics is too big, too self-congratulatory. I lost interest years ago when the athletes became professional and not amateur.

It is interesting that airline tickets to London now are the cheapest in all of Europe.

I mean, normally that is the case anyway, but you'd think that would be not true during the Olympics...

That certainly is a factor - the movie business is seeing this as well.

I wonder if another factor is that seeing the Olympics in person is so expensive that the only attendees are those coming via their private jets... /sarc
