A typical BMW/Merc/SUV owner reaction to a "complex" problem that garden slug could suss out. I watch Audi Q7 driver/Jag s type/BMW X5 drivers today acting out, cutting up people & being assholes. I didn't get upset, i still have Ej's words ringing in my ears..."they bought prosperity though 40 years of credit expansion"....

The game is up & the flow is going the other way...........My God this is going to Rock, BABY R O CK !

Not too long ago, I found myself driving behind a large truck on my motorcycle. We were both headed down into my neighborhood. Out of nowhere, she stops in the middle of the road. Her passenger hopped out of the truck, yet she didn't budge. I waited 10 seconds before pulling up to her window and waving to her. I told her that she needed to move her vehicle, but she refused. She was right in front of her driveway, yet she wouldn't just pull into it momentarily. She told me she could do whatever she wanted. All the while, people were lining up behind her. There was nothing I could do at that point beyond telling her that she had no consideration for others and flipping her off. I drove off at that point. There was no reason for doing what she did. Just know that if you do anything like that with me around, I will tell you off for it. I might not be able to make you do the right thing, but I'll make you look bad for doing the wrong thing.

I think almost everyone dies at the end of that movie. Not a heartening view of the future.

BTW, as to the woman, here's a personal story.

Some years ago I was driving my large pickup down an arterial style road. Some guy (Indian doctor or software guy I surmise) in his expensive Ferrari convertible is doin 25 in a 35. I give the horn a brieft tap to remind him I am behind him, he looks in the mirror, stops and glares at me. HA HA! Here he is with his little girl in a top down car. Here I am in a pickup with a grill that is right about head height.

So I smile at him, and lay on the horn. Don;t get off it, just lay on it. After about 15 seconds he pulls forward far enough for me to pass aorund him, as if to prove to me I have to be the one to go out of my way. I just smile an give him a wave as I go by. What a pompous ass.

Most guys my size in my kind of vehicle are construction workers, and lost of them would climb out of the truck when he stopped and clock him for it.

I watched this and for a sec I thought it was in France. I see this happening ALL. THE. TIME. I live near a one lane tunnel and people will insist that someone two thirds of the way through the tunnel back all the way out so they can have their right of way. I got a French drivers license last year. They have a absolutely mind boggling course where you sit and watch 100 hours of rules-of-the-road DVDs in a class room setting. After which A teacher comes in and drills the class in the minutia of French regulations. It is so difficult to get a license in France that people put it on their résumé. All this is due to the anti-social driving habits of the French.

As for this being a reaction to declining economic conditions, Honestly, watch that lady again. Don't you get the feeling that that is just her natural personality coming out? The temper tantrum and calling the police are just spoiled rich kid. I see this all over today.
