I actually think people are more informed these days. Were it not for the Internet, I would have no clue about this stuff. The Internet has really opened up a lot of channels for people to find alternative news. I can only imagine what it was like back in the days before the Internet when we were dependent on mainstream media. I am not going to lie; I would have been clueless.

The question is, in the days before alternative news, was there more pressure to actually report news which encompasses more of the audience's views? Which in turn requires stronger objectivity?

As opposed to today where you can get whatever flavor you want?
