China thread on Automatic Earth

Yes, they are a deflation-bias site -- but they occasionally have very interesting posters and of the deflation-bias sites, they've been more right than wrong, so I keep one eye in their direction.

This recent posting on China I found quite insightful and would be curious to hear the group take on it (and EJ as well) since in many ways it seems to echo what's been said here. The insights as to *why* were very good.

I post in the public section, because this (AE) is a public site. FRED please do not move to Select.

After seeing the word baboon in the first 10 comments, I elected not to pursue further the possibility that the difference is in the comments.

I wasn't aware of the other thread (can't read everything!). I thought the article itself was interesting -- I do not read the commentary on the articles as AE does not have anywhere near the community iTulip does.

No worries - I just wasn't sure if the article itself was what you were highlighting or the article as well as something unique to automatic earth.
