Not many here can even start to explain the political and economic shift in Myanmar/Burma, but everyone knows longtime Burmese refugees in Thailand are packing up and going home, some after living here 30 years. Things are obviously changing. Construction labor is shrinking rapidly and projects are being delayed. Allowing Burmese children into Thai public schools and raising the minimum wage no longer hold some Burmese here.
