    Re: EJ Appreciation Thread

I have praised EJ in many other threads. As I just recently said, without EJs constant reminders I probably would have bailed out on gold when it crossed the $800 line.
This has kept sustained my retirement money and kids college money.

Another at-a-boy for keeping this site friendly and civil. I don't know if someone is purging the trouble makers, or they don't come here. but a big thumbs up on that.

And finally EJ has mentioned that he has offers all the time to go run a hedge fund. He could do this but he does not. This is the only place where J6P (me) can get access to a great financial mind.

Well Hang on, lets keep our feet on the ground here, a few points i like to make. While a agree that EJ has done much he has fummbled the ball on a few:-

Didn't make me VP of Itulip
Didn't gift me a lease hire Merc or BMW for all the outstanding discuss i posted
Wouldn't allow me to forward my "Working girl/M2" Theory.....

So GOOD, but not quite there yet..

                    Re: EJ Appreciation Thread

                    Cheers EJ!

But also a big thanks to everyone who contributes in a positive way on this forum.

We're lucky to have some big brains on this forum including the likes of Bart & Finster who could probably pull enough traffic to run their own forums if they wanted, but thankfully contribute significantly here.

And on top of that there's folks with all kinds of different professional and life experience to add value and texture to the conversation.....who can provide professional insight into vastly different fields from aviation to oil & gas to healthcare and beyond.

It's a very rich community I feel quite lucky to have found and joined.

And more thanks, EJ. During the past four years of reading your work I've learned more about the international monetary system and economy that I did in the previous fourteen. The tone you've set for this online community is excellent, and the members attracted to it have enriched my learning all the more.

May God bless you and your family, and may He grant you many years!

I'm not certain what number we've got to on this thread. Being a gearhead I thought I would apply an engineering solution to that dilemma :-)

                          + lim (e^x)
                          x -> infinity

                              EJ

You push the envelope on understanding *hard* macro problems. I've read quite a few who stop at "XYZ will happen, and then all bets are off". You go several steps beyond that to understand and chart the future. Hats off to you, and keep the fire burning within ! Thank you..

Absolutely! Many thanks to EJ for his intellect, insights and integrity, not to mention his generosity. I am a much savvier person for having found iTulip. I just wish I'd found it twelve years ago. I'd be way smarter and have a lot more money.

Also, thanks to all the members who share their remarkable knowledge and intelligence here. You make this community the incredible resource it is.

                                Cheers.
