    Re: Collapse or Indefinite Serfdom?

Perhaps a "final solution" is in order?

"...Eliminate them. White people, black people, brown people, yellow people, get rid of 'em all. All we need is a voluntary, free spirited, open-ended program of procreative racial deconstruction. Everybody just gotta keep f****n' everybody til they're all the same color."

    How's that for political correctness?

It's very political correct to want to get rid of 'races'. Same for nation-states. There are some deluded minds that think that getting rid of nation states takes away reasons for war. Their lack of comprehension of the issues involved and their proposed solutions in fact are a more likely catalyst for war. Look at present day Europe to see how that will end (again?).

Regarding genetic basis for average intelligence, e.g. between the races: the issue is not if this is true or not. Rather, on why to focus on this as there's plenty of variation of intelligence within each genetically 'equivalent' group. You could also start measuring intelligence of people with and without tattoos, of vegetarians and non-vegetarians, etc.

There are plenty of legitimate and interesting reasons to do this, but boosting your own confidence (or deriving your self-worth) as being part of a certain group with a higher intelligence is not one of them. In fact, it'd rather argue against being intelligent

        Well, since I wrote:

"I simply can't understand what anyone believes is to be gained by this. And what place it has here at iTulip, I'd be interested to know?"

I think we're close to agreement. That said, there's a fair bit of distance between Senator Bulworth's proposal for procreative racial deconstruction and efforts to abolish the nation-state. And to be frank, one sounds like a lot more fun than the other.

I'd doubt you'd find many people who disagree on that

It is completely politically correct. I realize this was tongue in cheek, but I believe that engineering a population boom just as energy and industrial feed stocks plateau or fall in decline would have the opposite of your intended effect. Furthermore if the goal is to achieve racial uniformity it would be necessary to undertake some of the things you found offensive in a previous post.

In order to avoid hurt feelings the focus has shifted away from accurate results. You know there is a problem when a study breaking down penis size by country provokes less controversy.

Because of the partial anonymity provided by the WWW it is possible to discuss topics that would be impossible to otherwise. I see the value in frank and honest discussion even if the subject is taboo. Although I feel bad that this thread has been hijacked in order to visit the lunatic fringe.

Agreed with you and Metalman on that.

We're not going to change hearts and minds on this one, no matter how much science, reason or goodwill we muster. Besides, it's not the sort of topic I've come to expect at iTulip and I value this community too much to put it at risk.

As for my quote from "Bulworth," if it offended you or anyone, please accept my sincere apology. This is the last I'll say on the matter and I consider this thread to be closed, for all intents and purposes.
