Looking at as an engineer i say it started life as a real bar, they drilled & filled the tunsen rods the filled & polished the end. Strangly they f*cked up the weight which should have been a dead give away.

I read about this years ago but never saw any proof. Hmmmm..... Problem is, there are so many Chicken Little doomers, and so many lying stealing sociopaths in high places, that it's impossible to know the truth anymore.

If "60 metric tonnes of 400oz 'good delivery' bars were gutted and filled with tungsten, and swapped with US Treasury gold at Fort Knox in a highly sophisticated plan" where's the real gold?

After thinking about this for a few hours, I started to think something was fishy. This story gets trotted out every time the gold market is flagging. Right now gold is off a couple hundred dollars and gold mining stocks are in free-fall. What do we need to create interest in gold? Another planted story about fake bars in circulation. What if the vendor "salted" the bar himself( or in combination with others)?

On another note, how can you tell if your bar is good? this is what goldmoney uses:

I'm going to guess that this machine costs in the $10,000 -$30,000 range and takes a long time to learn to use properly.
I cannot find a price online for one.
