My friends, let me give you an example of just HOW thick they are:-

Local female & hubby........bussiness go's belly up & his BMW 5 series & her merc are gone...........they have very limted funds. Thus one would expect that they get a single car to replace the missing transport?

This single car would be as new as possable & do very good Gas milage?

They blew most of their remaining cash on a 15 year old BMW 3 series with 134,000 miles on it!!!!
A big six cyinder engine & its leaking oil & smokes a bit !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They deserve to die!!!!!!!!!

Gasoline in Japan is about 160 yen per liter, about 1.22 pounds per liter, 1.93 dollars per liter

Hmm, also, US gallons and UK gallons are different (I really hate there being different types of ounces, gallons, barrels, tons, etc.), so one must be extra careful when making conversions.

Actually, because the yen has strengthen so much over the last 20 years, and because some oil is being bought directly in yen now, the price of gasoline has not changed as much as might be expected, being about 100 yen per liter for a long time after 1990 and being 160 yen per liter now, say a nominal 1.6X.
