    I would agree.....

    And while I think a corruption free "second coming" is highly unlikely.....what about instead of trying to get "our" guy elected......we focus on denying "theirs"?

    An internet-based corruption filter.....something like opensecrets.org meets Facebook/Twitter with the marketing of Greenpeace/Apple/Nike/Harley

      I am unconvinced that crowdsourcing is necessarily any better for many applications, especially compared with focused and funded operations.

      While certainly crowdsourced material is useful for many tasks, a time and expertise delimited one such as vetting political candidates seems far better suited to bags of money and private investigators.
