Make a shell company, sell leases, if the well is dry, cancel the leases. What's not to like?
We dont need no regulation. We overestimate what can be gotten out of the ground by 10X! Our stock goes up!

Aubrey McClendon, the company CEO, took a huge hit during the meltdown. The Chesapeake shareholders made him whole again. No problem there.
