Under which of those priorities would a drug buy sting fall?

For some time it seems we have had increasingly intensely competitive rival security agencies cutting up the pie. Shades of the 3rd Reich. Gestapo . . . Abwehr . . . SD . . . the SS . . . etc. all played off on each other.

I think you are encouraging me, Don.....

In the (near?) future..will dealing drugs be considered a terrorist activity? Maybe the DHS is trying to muscle there way in on the DEA and state/local LE rackets. Since they won't have to play by the same rules as the others, they'll prolly be successful. No worrying about carefully building cases and prosecutions; just disappear anybody slightly connected to the illegal drug biz, and take the money...

Remember the good old daze when the FBI was the federal cops, the Agency was abroad, cops were local . . .

Every new agency has to continuously justify its existence, even if it has to make shit up. Not good . . . .
