  • Hank Paulson, Public Serpent

Several days ago I posted a comment about our former Treasury Secretary, Henry Paulson, referring to him as a "liar, slimeball; another Goldman alumni".

It would seem I didn't fully realize just how accurate my description was.

    Re: Hank Paulson, Public Serpent

Morgan Stanley and BlackRock Inc. both helped the Federal Reserve and OCC prepare the reports on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac that Paulson told the New York Times would instill confidence the morning of the Eton Park meeting.
What a wonderful sentence. All of the players are mentioned.

At the time Paulson privately addressed the fund managers at Eton Park, he had given the market some positive signals -- and the GSEs’ shares were rallying, with Fannie Mae’s nearly doubling in four days.

      gang of thieves . . .

and finally, the coup de grace . . .

It's been determined: God is in the 1% -- `` Three hedge fund managers from Greenwich just won a $254 million Powerball jackpot--an occurrence not likely to please demonstrators on Wall Street. According to the Associated Press, the Belpointe LLC money men stand to gain $104 million after taxes. That's the 12th biggest payout in Powerball history.''

I especially like the 'blast from the past' concerning Paulson's bazooka - note the EU use of the term as well last month...

Must be in the GS official media playbook.

            do you believe in coincidences?

            magic?

            neoliberal crime wave?

Italy's "debt" is touted as 498bn Euros.

Italy's gold holdings are reportedly 2451 tonnes (100bn Euros)

            That would support a bond issuance of . . . 500bn Euros.

How do they arrive at these figures
