  • stansberry ads on latenite tv

dunno if this one is appearing where y'all might be, but have started seeing a rather starkly minimal ad on tv fairly late in the evenings,
    touting this URL: endofamerica63.com
    which leads one to: http://www.stansberryresearch.com/pr...49/6PSIMA33/PR

    comments?
he seems to be hitting on all the themes discussed around here - anybody have insight?

the question i have is: could this be the beginning of a run to hard assets by the rest of the herd (with this sort of stuff being advertised on... either FX or the sci-fy channel, coulda been both) ?

He's part of the Agora stable, an outfit whose strategy seems to be to scare the living daylights out of retirees... (I know, my father in law subscribes to them and sends me stuff.) Not that there's not a lot to be scared about mind you, but the Agora copy-writing style almost magically incites the kind of panic / greed that makes careful decision making impossible. They are masters of it. Anyone promoting investments with this kind of breathless hard-sell can only be a fraud IMHO.

    Oh, what do you know:
