This news release might be a diversionary tactic to serve multi purpose. For instance, one is start to win US citizen support against going to war (e.g. Ron Paul which would be a blow to JP Morgan & elite power base starting to eye Romney). Second, keep the focus off of Iran and Syria with mounting escalations with Israel. Third, catalyze more economic ambiguity and pain in the developed countries.

Point is this is one huge chess game and beneath each move are two to three other hidden "strike moves."
