I think this is excellent idea ! This kind of equipment could be used by public organizations to monitor protests and police actions. This was just a play and I am not sure if this was used even by protestors but still I wonder why nobody before come to the idea to use this technology at such occasions ! (others too:-))

Its been done before but they just go after the guy controlling the aircraft and break his stuff "accidentally". Unfortunately that is a very good deterrent against this sort of thing.
