Calculus is not a distiction between a BA and BS at all schools. I think it may be institution dependent. My wife went to a state school that is known to have an engineering focus and recieved a BS in psychology. She took no higher than intermediate algebra and statistics. This may be because her school does not offer a BA in psychology but i am not sure. I do think it is interesting that her degree included very little hard science and was from a state school that is known to have a high percentage of engineering majors.

And my wife is just the opposite. She took all the math required for an engineering degree - algebra, trigonometry, calculus, analytic geometry, and differential equations. But she took a BA in geology rather than a BS. Something about a field report, as I recall, she wanted out so she skipped it and just took the BA.
