online down, but I can access my BAC account through my iphone APP and pay bills also. So this may be technical issue.
ZH is really a paranoid org, maybe they get sadistic enjoyment out of their constant paranoid articles.

The site wasn't "down" down when I used it; it was "slow" down. They might be victims of a denial-of-service attack, although I think they claimed this was just 'technical difficulties'. But I had no problems banking. The experience feels like a server capacity/bandwidth issue rather than a business issue.

Bank of America often has technical problems, at least in my experience. They are quite inept when it comes to technology (yes, i have experience working with them) and I am surprised their site works as often as it does.

I still have a small BAC account. I moved my main acct to a credit union. I didn't realize how bad they sucked until I left. Stock price @ 5.30 as I type this. Morgan Stanley stock price eroding on a daily basis. Cramer says they're fine which may be the Bear Stearns death kiss.

I don't know about BAC online, but I have been seeing network delays off and on for the past 2 weeks.

My app has servers in both Phoenix and Massachusetts; the Massachusetts server has been unreachable for batches of 5 minutes off and on although the machine itself is fine.

No doubt 'net neutrality' at work.
