  • Holidays - buying toys for kids

In a completely OT way thought I'd share this find with you-all:

    http://www.grand-illusions.com/

Excellent site for finding toys that induce a bit of genuine wonder in the kiddywinks and well, me... at how awesome and fascinating the world - as we found it at least - is...

Travelling at xmas so I have to think ahead... Hope it's useful to someone here too.

Hmm, tough call between one of those and a comic book for my nephew. What is more useful to a child, a book they like to read or a physics problem they can play with?

It depends upon the age. If they are careful, then hands-on stuffs are more of a wonder than reading. Also one can always pick up books later in their lives too. I am giving my little one more things to play and keep his mind occupied.
