Re: France to ban sales of Gold/Silver?
+1
quite astute, that one, mr c.
its kinda funny how the one news story generated such differing observations, eh?
but, nears i can tell - the copper theft problem is but another in the long line of unintended consequences of ZIRPland - out here its been outa control for a few years now: highways going dark, gutters disappearing, a/c condensor assy's being carted off, catalytic converters suddenly being advertised/solicited as 'scrap metal' by those types of biz's - along with the occasional zapping/fried to a krakaly-krunch those dumb enough to cut large (and live/hot) distribution cables...
and what did we get?
more laws - on top of the existing ones for theft etc - which were immediately pronounced DOA by the defense attorney lobby - leading to ever more brazen pilferage (and BBQ's ;)
its a good thing our .govs are 'protecting us', eh?
