It should read, "Note to voters: unless men like Ron Paul are able to change the course of the country, the smart money is to bet against the U.S. economy for the most part."

What would the author have Paul do? Invest in things he doesn't believe in as some misguided sign of loyalty??? About as empty and vapid a column as I have ever read. Its not as if Paul is saying one thing and doing another. The column sounds like something straight out of the movie Idiocracy, where intelligence is ridiculed. Attempting to ridicule Gold, he sounds like those at the turn of the 20th century predicting the failure of the automobile.
