    And watching on a big screen TV could be satisfactory most of the time.

    Or maybe you can get deeply discounted tickets from a broker, or 2-for-1.

    My wife and I have gone from Sunday Season Ticket holders to attending one game a year at the SF Giants ballpark. We go this Wednesday. Lower box- $154.00 for 2.

      Nothing like seeing something live, but the ticket prices are out of control.

      This is a classic situation where extremely expensive things that take a long time to construct are planned during bubbles, and by the time they are finished and ready to go, no one can afford to use them and the market just is no longer there. And crashing headlong into the problem of it is possible to copy and transmit huge amounts of data for nearly free and watch it on a big screen at home.

      Someone once said if you want to know where there is a bubble, just look where they just built the tallest building in the world.
