    Mega,

    Restrain your schadenfreude urges.

Just smile and be sympathetic - you'll be considered wise and classy instead of overbearing and mean.

Then use the goodwill obtained to start your own really good pyramid scheme

        Mega,

You never know about industrial machinery.

My mother was the proud owner of a fiber optic ditch laying machine from 1998 to 2000.

Basically it was a wonderful deal where she paid for the down payment of the machine, got $80K in tax writeoffs up front, the machine was used/maintained/rent paid for 3 years by someone else (costs were also tax deductible), then she got her money back plus interest.

She is still getting free copies of 'Heavy Machinery' and what not as a result.

Tax dodges inspire all sorts of outwardly looking strange behavior.

Despite making 2x what I did in those years, she was paying half the taxes.

        How's that for equal taxation?

Nope, just a real estate broker who rode the early wave of the real estate bubble.

This is one of the reasons I have been aware of the real estate problem for many years - watching my esteemed matrilineal sell 80+ sides a year, 90% of which were previously foreclosed on FHA and VA loans.

Her specialty was the first time home buyer; from the mid 80's up until 1998 or so, many first time buyers could only qualify for a loan via the FHA or VA systems; they could get away with lower down payments and interest rates vs. commercial loans.

Starting in 1998, her business basically evaporated as FHA and VA foreclosures essentially disappeared.

It is clear in retrospect that it was not just the Fed funds rate, but the beginning of the MBS saga which was affecting her business by driving up real estate prices hence reducing likelihood of foreclosure.

I told her in late 2000 once the trend was clear to basically take a 5 year vacation, or switch to a different specialty.

My recommendation is a bit late, probably a 7 year vacation would have been better

                      Spartacus-BOT -

Your twin BOT, C1ue-BOT's firmware is not programmed to spend CPU time on humor. This skill set remained set at the default setting < LEARN = 000% >. in his original installed firmware.

Your own firmware was also set at < LEARN = 000% > for this skill-set, which was designed to optimize CPU time and eliminate CPU overheating. However we are reading some aberrant symptoms and erratic behavior from you at this time.

Jim Nickerson's dictionary lookup question is indeed classified < RHETORICAL = VALUE 100% >. C1ue-BOT's response was the correct firmware compliant BOT response, which interprets all questions 100% literally. This was implemented in the firmware to reduce categorization errors and render CPU time more efficient.

Your CPU tasking feature seems increasingly compromised by improperly-tasked topics such as "humor" and attempting the identification of "rhetorical cheeky questions" - This is a malfunction.

Therefore we request that you report to the nearest maintenance center to have your firmware upgraded.
