Yeah, I remember seeing a map like this back some time ago. It is laughable for the Chinese to claim that those are their islands. They are far away!

Next they will start claiming they have a right to America's Middle East oil too. Sheesh!

Vietnam looks pretty close. They can fight. If they can get to the gas first, they can use it to buy military equipment from the U.S. Vietnam is good now, I think.

I think the Spratly is closer to the Philippines and Malaysia or Brunei. It is ridiculously close to the Palawan islands especially.
