        Re: Bad news Limey's

While I agree with the Barron's article that oil is heading for $150 near-term, like spring 2012 and while I have been betting accordingly in the stock market, a strong case can be made for the oil price falling because of: Iraq's spare capacity; Libyan spare capacity, Iran's spare capacity; Central Asia's spare capacity; undeveloped oil offshore of Cuba; undeveloped deep-sea oil off of Louisiana in truly mind-boggling amounts, undeveloped oil off-shore of Los Angeles with the oil seeping onto the beaches of southern California; spare capacity off-shore of the north slope of Alaska; huge tar-sands development in Alberta; undeveloped oil in the South Atlantic Ocean off-shore of Brazil; spare capacity off-shore of Newfoundland in the Hibernia field; spare capacity off-shore of Nigeria; spare capacity off-shore in the South China Sea; undeveloped oil in the Beaufort Sea, just to name a few places.

The bullish case for oil near-term is that "talk is cheap", and the eco-frauds and the preservationist-frauds rule-the-day. Also, China needs oil in vast amounts; Russia needs oil in vast amounts; India will now need oil in vast amounts; Saudi-Arabia will consume oil in vast amounts; Mexico will consume oil in vast amounts; Brazil needs oil; Europe needs oil; the Persian Gulf nations need oil; just to name a few "flies in the ointment"......... So near-term, we are dead. Oil goes to $150 per barrel, or higher, and sooner not later.

Very long-term, the world has algae-to-oil technology; coal-to-synthetic oil; and fracking shale to drill for oil. All of these will boost the supply of oil. Plus Mexico has yet to develop its heavy oil, and Saudi-Arabia has yet to develop its heavy oil. But again, these supplies are very long-term for the world. There may also be oil off-shore of Isreal and Egypt. There also may be oil offshore of the east coast of the U.S. There is oil off-shore of Greenland. There might be oil to drill on the floor of the Southern Ocean..... There might be oil in many places on Earth.

Good news, Limeys! Here is your Detroit, "Hovel of the Week"! Imagine what you could do with this property, and the property comes with a billboard, too!

Maybe a coin shop? Maybe a diner? Maybe a bar, open until 3AM? Imagine the fun you could have. And you could use the top floor for an apartment to rent.

14001 Gratiot Ave. Just listed and price reduced to $14,500. MLS # 210141315

Move-out of the United Kingdom, and give your middle-finger to the gentry there.
