Tax the billionaires all you want but remember that during the 50 years in took the Kock's to accumulate 20 billion each, the government (Fed and local adjusted for inflation of course) collected and spent well over 100 Trillion dollars. For those math challenged like the interviewer, that's the wealth of 5000 Kock brothers lifetimes. I'm not defending the ridiculous tax system that turns the rich into benevolent dictators, I'm just saying work on both sides, stop partisan bickering.

I know to many business people and for every Kock, their are 1000's of entrepreneurs that probably make minimum wage for all the hours they work. The unions like to vilify the winners while ignoring how many "loser's" it takes to make a winner. It's no wonder poor democrats are such big lottery players, they have no idea of what odd's are. They are also the first to whine about the million dollar pay of actor/sport star/musician but seem oblivious to all the millions who try yet fail at these endeavors. I'm sure if you averaged all the pay checks of the Tom Cruises with the 1000's who failed, the average pay check would be a negative number!

Our teachers whine "I don't teach to get rich", but never seem to realize they are in fact in the top 1% pay per hour worked of the nation. Here's a link to an area school teacher contract that spends 99% of it's verbiage, not on how best to educate the kids but on capping time spent with kids (945 hours/year) and maximizing pay ((year one 75k and 112K total package by year 10 for a BA plus all higher education costs 100% reimbursed) Pay per hour worked? $118 an hour.

      What page is that on?

I see state minimum of 1098 hours of instruction and FMLA requirements of 1250 hours in the previous year.

Still not a lot of instruction time, mind you, but I'm wondering where you got that number of 945 hours.
