Go ahead and be my guest: Put solar-panels on top of your roof in Canada in winter. And I think this is what it is going to come to: The public will learn the hard way about what does not work and what does work. Sad to say, I think the lights may go out and people may starve and freeze in the dark before they wake-up and demand action by their governments.
I just listened to the bulletin from the Federal Reserve Open Market Committee: "No change." They don't understand the problem with the Great Recession, and they are locked into the failed understandings of the 1930s, literally insisting that cheap money and inflation can be the cure to the Great Recession of our own time.
From the FOMC: "The committee is watching the price inflation but does not observe any inflation problem currently."
