Re: Great confusion about Fukushima
Listening to NHK World English on the web, I have been very impressed with the translators. I realize they aren't 100% accurate, but even so, the job they do is pretty amazing (as an aside, it's interesting to me that almost all of the good real-time translators I've known or heard have been female).
On the nuclear issue, I find Arnie Gunderson's updates on Fukushima to be reasoned and interesting:
