The Judith Miller tale has still not been told.

As for Davis, the drone attacks the day after his release hint at foreign policy out of control, but you have to dig deep...I hope democracynow.org will follow up on this with a long piece.

don, with all the articles you post, I've often wondered how you get your news.

http://english.aljazeera.net is good for asia. it's coverage of japan has been excellent.

I wish there were better news aggregators out there. http://www.realitychex.com is not bad, but must be based out of d.c. with all the links to the washington post.

sources that fell away...herald trib, washington post, all things considered replaced by google news, guardian, democracy now.
I use the Times because I read it everyday - the paper edition! As noted, that is seriously old school. Also read the SF Chron. Used to subscribe to the Journal but it's slipped. Besides their in-the-field resources, the Times remains okay because it lays down the framing of the story for a high percentage of the local media. Might as well get close to the main outlet of what the elite want you to think. Many of the Times pieces I post here are critical of their contents. Quoting the times is hardly an endorsement. Quite the contrary.

At this point in time my "wise men" are Hudson, Henry K. Liu and Black, with a pinch of Catherine Austin Fitts. And it goes without saying, EJ and the itulip band. None that I'm aware of work for the NYTimes.
