We're in the process of transferirng our business finances from BOA to a credit union. It's one thing to transfer one's personal accounts to a credit union, and so much more to transfer business accounts, with payroll services, direct deposits from certain clients, and other minor factors that force us to nearly double our cash holdings during the trasnfer period to avoid hiccups.

But....anything to get out of the grip of the TBTF bank.

I partially agree - in 5 years, more of the smaller banks will be gone. I hopeful that the larger credit unions will weather the storm.

All of my real banking is in a local credit union, the JPM deal was just a payday for me.
I would never do any real buisness with a TBTF bank.

If they offer another payday, I'm going for that too.
