  • Paper is getting KILLED!.......(J P Morgan to meet its Waterloo tomorrow?)

    The sharks can smell blood in the water, J P Morgan had to bribe them 20% + to settle in Cash.........this didn't go un-noticed by the BIG players......I know you can't fight the Fed, but i think we at the end game here.

    Mega
    Ps. Thank you Peter Schiff, your book put the hook in me & although i thought to buy Gold, i never thought about silver.....very good advice

    Someone give me a hand here. I don't contribute much....I certainly don't have the time Mega has to do so. However, I'm a little confused by this post. Paper getting killed? wtf? what paper....slv? I see it up 2.4% today! Take Peter Shiff's advice and not buy silver? why not? I did along with gold Jan 2007 after reading itulip for 6 months prior to that. sold all my mutuals and moved into gold and silver.....yes, both GLD and SLV......I've made a killing and continue to do so!

    Are they paper........yes........do they currently still trend along with their PM spot price?..........yes.............can you redeem them for physical.......I don't want to.....I want to sell them when they spike from fear and everyone wants gold....That's when I sell and buy some DZZ to ride it back down.
    Do I own physical too? yes, I do.....both G and S.

    I think you can make a lot of money in PM ETF's if you watch the game being played and have a quick trigger finger!.

    Just my two cents.

      GeraldRiggs;

      a) Never try to make sense of a Mega post.

      b) I agree with your assessment of SLV and GLD; although I tend to prefer CEF/GTU/BullionVault.

        Usually when you're talking Sciff & Mega "paper" means the "b0nar" or the "d0llar"

        Largo's advice is good too. Mega seems to not have the patience or time or inclination to explicate at length.

          I have no support of this, but I believe that JPM is backstopped by the fed. If it has a giant silver short, the fed will just take it off its hands. Maybe not the short itself but I'm sure JPM can reach deep into its real-estate asset holdings, and find some other worthless sludge that can be bought at par.

          I would recommend buying GTU too. The premium is low right now, and if you can hold it for a year before flipping, it is eligible for 15% cap gain instead of 28, if you are a U.S. tax payer.

            Mega is referring to the OI (open interest) report at the CME. My understanding is that if by Feb 28, Silver OI contracts remain between 10,000 to 20,000, this *may* (dont hold your breath) empty the COMEX of physical silver resulting in contract settlements needing to settle with a 20% cash premium. If this happens, silver will go to the MOON, and then to VENUS and beyond, and JP Morgan will go to the Morgue due to their massive silver shorts.
