The Federal Reserve and Obama (as Bush and Clinton before him) are being setup to be disgraced.

Once the U.S. Government is sufficiently discredited in the eyes of enough Americans, we will be driven by terrifying events into the grasp of global governance.

Just as the once free and sovereign several States were driven by one of the bloodiest wars in American history (the American Civil War) into the grasp of a dominant Federal government, so shall the once free and sovereign several Nations of the world be driven, by fearful and bloody events dividing brother against brother, father against son, into the grasp of a dominant World government.

One thing can stop this: sufficient understanding and mutual trust amongst the people, that they should not take up arms against each other nor cower in fear before the dictates of their would-be masters.

TPC, it appears that you have been moving towards the "Mad Max" scale as of late, or perhaps I am mistaken?

I think the American people has suffered quite a lot already. The terrifying events are here, they are called "metalman's rust".

I fail to see how would this fit into the nuclear age. McNamara's comments on nuclear deterrence by the small island of Cuba comes to mind, hence how can this be applied on a "World" stage?

I agree with you, but I want to reiterate an earlier point: "starving the beasts" (war etc.) via fiat repudiation and acceptance of precious metals as money could be the key. That is obviously in addition to peaceful civil disobedience...after all, we are the government.
