    Peek Heroin
    http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/2010/nov/21/heroin-shortage-uk-overdose-users

Something rather strange is happening, the World is getting short of Heroin!

Good news, unless you’re a smack head or a banker…..let me explain. Back in the pre 9/11 days the Taliban ran Afghanistan, not sure it was great but that’s the way it was. Then some strange events took place. The leaders of the Taliban flew into America to discuss the plan to run a pipeline though Afghanistan from central Asia.

They where taken to a ranch owned by the then gov of Texas George Bush ( rings a bell?). Then they returned to Afgan, thought about the offer & said no thanks. At this point the people they were fighting suddenly got a SHIT load of money & Arms from the US.

Somewhat pissed off by this the Taliban decide to strike back, they stopped the production of Heroin. I watched the BBC news TV showing them stockpiling the stuff & burning it…….the World output of Heroin FELL big time……we all cheered…..then something strange happened.

Planes started flying into tall buildings………not long after America invaded Afgan. Put in a puppet government (we seen this movie before?) & Heroin production rocketed….the Bankers rejoiced as they used the drug cash to keep the soon to collapse banks afloat.

Heroin found it way into Iran/Russia/China……..Who were not happy. It seems that “Some how” so new strange Fungus has “Some how” got lose & is KILLING the opium plants. I wonder if this “Might” effect the balance sheets of some major banks & the City of London?

After all you can naked short sell silver/Gold but you can’t sell non-existent Heroin.

Wasn't there a fungus in the 19th century destroing potatoes in Ireland ?

    It happens.

Still, some farmers think the US and NATO are poisoning their crops. Farmer Haji Mohammad in Nawzad told the BBC that he had seen a dramatic reduction in the amount of opium he was able to harvest. He described the fungus as an "aerial spray." He said his poppy harvest had shrunk 990 pounds last year to nine pounds this year.
"[It]... has affected my wheat cultivation and my chickens and other animals as well," he said. "The powder sprayed has a white color and I think it is chemical and if you squeeze it in your hand, water comes out of it."
Other farmers in the region also said they had seen a white substance on their crops. They, too, reported extensive crop damage and that livestock had been affected.
But Costa denied that the West was using biological warfare in Afghanistan. "I don't see any reasons to believe something of that sort," he said. "Opium plants have been affected in Afghanistan on a periodic basis."

Reminds me of the potato beetle, my parents were telling me about.

The notion of the Colorado potato beetle as an offensive
weapon appears to have lived on after the Second
World War, however. In June 1950 Paul Mercker, Minister
of Agriculture and Forestry in the German Democratic
Republic, accused the USA of discharging
Colorado potato beetles from airplanes flying over East
Germany. No proof was offered, and US authorities
    dismissed Mercker’s accusations as propaganda.
