    Wages have risen in China because the once-rural based peasants have been socialized in large factories and are able to organize for their own self interest.

      why does a wage price spiral have to occur WITHIN developed countries? we live in a global economy. we can have only pockets of wage inflation in the oecd and broader-based wage inflation in the rest of the world.
