    NPR just ran an 11 minute story on the gold standard. Interview with Jeffrey Bell, policy director at the American Principles Project, who says economists are always the last to consider fundamental change. Interview with Edwin Truman, Peterson Institute for International Economics, who suggests that at $1400 per ounce, perhaps the U.S. should consider selling some of the gold at Fort Knox.
