The wheels are coming off. In a related story the Federal Reserve has decided that the Cowboys are too big to fail and bought the victories of other teams to give to the Cowboys. While no audit on where these victories were to come from suddenly the Patriots, Steelers, Jets, Giants, and Ravens suddenly fell from 6-2 to 4-4 in the standings while the Cowboys record rose to 6-7. When asked if this move was wise considering the sale to China Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke stated that though this may present a challenge the current QE2 approach will allow the Fed to give victories the rest of the teams as well as the Cowboys and would increase everyones confidence in playing better football. Deciding who gets into the playoffs with a different number of games having been played when the regular season ends was said to prevent no problem as victories would be taken away from teams that had not made the playoffs anyway.
When contacted, former owner Jerry Jones said that he will be okay and was planning on converting the spectacular new Cowboy Stadium to the world's largest Wal-Mart. Box-seat prices dropped precipitously after the announcement.
