Why did Obama keep Bernanke on as Fed Chairman? And then, why did the Obama Demos re-appoint Bernanke, just this year? And then the less important questions: Why did Obama keep Dr. Chou (from the Sierra Club) on as Energy Department head? Why did bird-habitat preservation become an important issue in Gulf of Mexico oil extraction? Where are the atomic power plants that Obama promised? Where are the shovel-ready public-works jobs on projects that add real value to an economy such as building hydro-electric dams? Why aren't taxes going UP, not down, so that our children might have half-a-chance to survive? Why are interest rates being held at zero, and apparently forever? How can savers spend if they have zero income on their savings? Why are bankers being bailed-out in the TARP, and why was "Too Big to Fail" (hence, the passage of the TARP) a major priority of the Demos in Congress, anyway? Why was faith and hope and hooplah part of the Obama plan for America, anyway? Where was the socialized-medicine that the Obama-Demos promised? Why didn't the Obama-Demos go to the South and hang the Republicans on their own stupidity in opposing socialized-medicine? (The bills and the death-rates and the law-suits with for-profit private healthcare speak for themselves about the complete failure of free-market solutions to work in medical care.
