  • Robots in the classrooms

    http://edition.cnn.com/2010/TECH/inn...ex.html?hpt=C2

As robots take over, our manufacturing skills in building said robots will only improve significantly. As the costs go down for that, so will the costs of robots themselves.

There will be a tipping point and everything will take off with hockey stick growth as robots become the next China.

    Re: Robots in the classrooms

In the United States, teachers are not allowed to teach; they have to follow a script laid-down by the U.S. Dept. of Education. The script is enforced through standardized TIMED-testing. So, teachers have been turned into robots, and students are not allowed the freedom even to think. This minor detail: the inability for teachers to teach and the inability for students to critically-think, is troubling......How can democracy continue in America if students are not allowed to critically think and teachers are not allowed to differ from the education script handed down to them from the U.S. Department of Education?

Since teachers have been turned into robots, why not have mechanical-robots teach in the classroom? The cost-savings to the tax-payers could be substantial because there would be no need for professional teachers. And critical-thinking is too dangerous to government, anyway.
