I can't imagine why 100k might skew prescribing practices:

    This is my favorite part:

One top earning anesthesiologist for Cephalon had been kicked out of a hospital for conducting vaginal and rectal exams without a clear reason.
I'm just kicking myself now for not having gone to med school. In my current job I can't conduct those exams even with a clear reason.

At least you didn't have your tonsils out by that anesthesiologist, you might have left with an extra hop in your step....

You could have gone to Law School. It apparently has proven quite profitable for Judge Levine, since Judge Painter decided to come clean on the eve of his retirement. Painter isn't planning on a Tony Blair exit, cartwheeling into largess de main, provided by the masters he served so well. That boat's been burnt, down to the waterline. Painter, unlike Levine, actually adjudicated. His timing, of course, leaves mucho to be desired. Will we see his accusations acted upon by those in positions of power?

        The particulars:

i looked at the list of 384 who got over $100k, and recognized 2 names. 1 is a really bright academic guy up to his eyeballs in the research, and to whom i send an occasional patient for a consultation. the other is a guy who comes across to me as a smarmy, self-important, not that knowledgeable, creep-for-hire [i've heard him speak at large pharma sponsored events on a few occasions, and he is the only speaker whom i've ever seen personally attacked by a conference participant in front of 100's of attendees, and asked to apologize for a sexist joke.]
