Thought i might be useful (you tell me) if i did a sort of off ed weekly round up from England.
Ok, 1st of all At last we have some unwinding at last:-

If you read the last bit about prices now with prices in 6 months time you see why am smiling.
Next Up the British armed Forces:-

Bit of back ground on this (10 year) project.....WE decied that we are a demi-superpower that MUST have carriers to "Protect" (steal) British overseas intrests.....if your thinking this is a 19th centry policly your not alone, with our banks exposed as the centre of a international Ponzi scum & our Northsea oil/gas running out quickly you think they focus on other things..........
But now that we can't con the World out of hard cash, we are to take it by force.....but thats were the trouble starts. You see, we er.....have no aircralf to fly from them!
Am not joking, we had looked at using F35's, but delays in their production & the rather anoying fact that the American's will NOT give us the source codes for their systerms means that we can't upgrade the planes (it also gives the US an "off" button/ See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rp3sh...eature=related
So, the Limeys had to think this one out a bit, they came up with 2 idea's:-
1. Ask to "borrow" the new French carrier !...........& after the Frence finished pissing themselves laughing.....
2. Offer to "allow" the US Navy to land their F35 on our new carriers !....
For "allow" they mean loan or lease hire the planes & kit!!!!!
The Us Navy politly had to explained to them that its not like going to Herz for a fly-drive hoilday!
Apart from these 2 screemers there is not much else happening, the FED buys our debt, we buy yours...off balance sheet crap go's on. When the British went to war with Germany in WW2 the national braced itself for the coming Nazi attacks......which didn't come.......the nation was on a war footing, but Germany was busy else where in Euorpe & was in no hurry to attack England..... This time is know in Britan as the "Phoney war".......i think we are now coming to end of this "Econmic Phoney war".
