Sure it will ... once the new $USD is introduced 10:1

I've heard credible sources talk recently about a possible 20% to 30% pullback in POG.
      That's $1000/oz, more or less (924 to 1056)

I can't see it happening, but then I'm not a credible source.

Yeah - When I wrote that the U.S. Dollar would never purchase 1/1000 oz of gold again, I thought of qualifying "Dollar" to mean present Dollars.

But it turns out the clearest way to note that qualification was to leave it for someone else to say, as you did. Thanks!

You could have a pullback, but just based on current price action it looks like it will hit 1450-75 first before a pullback, but who really knows... It broke the upper resistance band, if it closes above it then it should continue for a little while before coming down again...

It's going a little scary out there....gold (and silver) relentlessly pushing forward. The Fed meeting is going to cause serious volatility no matter which way it goes.

A ) Fed launches QE II - gold and silver moonshoot
B ) Fed holds steady - gold and silver crash (well, let's call it a decent decline)

Lots of hype out there -- and the fear is returning. Which way to jump, which way to jump......

Looks like Mr. Denninger yanked his "Precious Metals Forum". It was there last night.

Theory: If you ignore it, maybe it will go away.

Down $13 yesterday. Up $20 today.

Time to re-read this one in reverse.

It jumped vertically up $10/ oz just before noon in New York.
Got my attention, then just leveled off at the higher price.
                    Volatile indeed.
