The problem with AE-P is that he just cannot believe that QE will not solve America's problems. I think that he is simply wrong, but this is a mistake many people are making. The US is a dead man walking. The bad debt in the world needs to be expunged, simply covering it up with QE and false accounting such as reworking mark-to-market and praying for unachievable levels of GDP growth will get us nowhere.
