    Not only is this quite an elitist frame, but one you can't prove. Anyway, it's not about some fuzzy notion of sustainability, brought into the public consciousness by elite run think tanks, it's about the fact that elites have radically reallocated wealth across the globe, and they didn't ask anyone's permission before they did it. Now, you want me to swallow this, and acquiesce to it being a good thing? Well, I'm simply not prepared to drink that kool-aid.

      I find the posters above to be sensible people. Too bad that they aren't working in the Obama Administration and advising the President.

        Probably correct on that one.

        I notice that humans have tended to live cooperatively in ever bigger groups, from the original family clans, to villages, to city states, to large federal nations that span a continent. That mega-trend likely won't stop right now.
