I'm one of the great unwashed who shop at Walmart and Sam's Club. I was at a Walmart Superstore in the Hudson Valley two hours ago. I spoke with an associate who is in charge of keeping the cereal section stocked. She is a modern day Sisyphus. Hordes of locusts constantly deplete the shelves that she has to keep stocked. She said she takes pictures of the shelves with her cell phone to prove to her boss that she is actually stocking the shelves because they empty so quickly.
The price difference between Walmart and it's competitors in groceries is so large it's shocking. I think Walmart will do fine in the end as more people move down the food chain and more people are forced to embrace or make a conscious decision to embrace a more frugal lifestyle.

Wal-Mart and Sam's Club are phenomenal stores. I like to buy the 24-pack of "off brand" bottled water for less than 12 cents per bottle and laugh on the inside at everyone who is against economic freedom.

I agree except there is one store that has as good or better grocery prices and that is ALDIs. The Walmarts we shop in are still very busy almost any time we are there.

I've found that when I'm shopping for just groceries that the time I save by going to the Food Lion that's right across the street from my local Wal-Mart more than makes up for the extra dollar or so that I may spend.
I hate the idea that I have to wade through that many people in order to save 50 cents on a box of cereal or 20 cents on a gallon of milk.
Being able to get your tires changed while grocery shopping is a fine concept, but it makes for one hell of an unpleasant shopping experience. I'll continue to spend the little bit of extra money as long as I can afford to.

I'm lucky enough to live by a co-op, carry my food in my pack when cycling back home from work. Locally grown produce and bulk items, good stuff. I can't stand WalMart, gives me the heebie jeebies. Not much is made to last either, the last thing I purchased there was a hand crank can opener, it did not work, poor construction or bad QC, a can opener of all things....

I also lent some money to said co-op for their move and expansion. Feels good to support a good local business.

The video above claims taped water can be better than bottled water.
Other people claim in some cities it would be suicide to drink the water.

Here in Germany we have different types of water, ("Tafelwasser") it's mainly tap water, an example is BONAQUA from Coca Cola.
("Mineralwassr") mineral water which has to come from a protected underground source, and ("Heilwasser") medicinal water which has to comply with even more regulations than mineral water and is considered a medicament.

You can taste the difference, but with a price tag of 1€ per litre it's not the cheapest, I would love to drink health water like this one every day.

My husband and I dropped our Sam's Club membership for Costco because they treat their employees much better, and it turned out that Costco's Kirkland house brand is excellent. The money we save on dry dog and cat food alone is worth the cost of membership. We were paying about $48 for a 33-lb Eagle Pack dog food, vs $23 for a 40-lb bag of Kirkland dog food. And the Kirkland has better ingredients!

How big of an impact it has depends on how big of an impact it has, not the words used in presentation. I recognize her and that style of animation from some other YT video which was also disagreeable and immediately sent up red flags for objectivity.

It's practically free for tap water? Yes, it is, especially since the water bill is included with my rental agreement. It's also practically free for bottled water. It costs me, rounded to the nearest tenth of a percent, about 0.2% of my income to provide myself with something so essential for life; it is ridiculously inexpensive. I'm also less of a burden on the local water supply, which is already strained significantly.

It's my understanding that if you are a serious coupon grocery shopper (like my wife), Walmart prices can be beat.

I avoid Walmart whenever possible. It's too depressing, seeing the "real" America.
