no, I only wish. it's around $6k/ac. Much more expensive than my Uruguayan farmland, but it is also 40 minutes from my house, a few miles ouf of the center of Tacoma, and a play on Peak Oil and the "two thousand mile salad". Usually you can't even buy stuff like this around here, and when you do you have to buy an expensive house on it as well, or the land is not this good a quality. this is truly some of the best land in Western Washington.

I would like to know how much Bank of America will make from my house. Been behind 6 months, unemployed, FHA loan. Now trying for 2nd time on loan modification as 1st time unemployment insurance not counted as income. Did get some paper work explaining how in event of forclosure HUD would then own house - does this mean BoA gets 100% of outstanding loan (which they purchased at X% on dollar from bankrupt "Taylor Bean & Whiticker" , to my mind using tax payer "Bail Out" monies.) Multiply this by 10k loan holders or more and that is a lot of cash for doing virtually nothing. Would explain banks reluctance and slowness to resolve defaulting loans. I still think would of been a lot cheaper for FED to pay banks interest only payments for legitimate recipients of U/B or SS, losing job etc. through no fault of their own, as in UK.
